Excel Formatting Integrity Tools
Budget: ₹100 – ₹400 INR
I need a small set of Excel-based utilities that let me copy, import, or restructure data while guaranteeing two things stay exactly as they are:
• every cell’s colours, fonts and borders
• all text and numeric values
No formulas, charts or conditional formatting are involved—just the visual cell formatting and the raw data itself.
On top of that, certain ranges must be locked so casual users can’t overwrite them. Simple “Restrict editing” using the built-in sheet protection dialog is fine; no password complexity requirements.
You’re free to use VBA, Power Query, named ranges or any other native Excel approach as long as the final workbook:
1. Preserves cell formatting and content after data refresh or paste.
2. Lets me toggle sheet protection on/off quickly when I need to update templates.
3. Works smoothly in current desktop Excel for Windows.
Please deliver a working .xlsx (and .xlsm if macro code is needed) with clear, in-sheet notes showing how to extend the tool for additional sheets later.
