Excel Descriptive Statistics Formulas

I have a raw dataset in Excel and I need it to quickly tell its own story. My priority is to generate accurate descriptive statistics using native Formulas and Functions—no PivotTables or add-ins this time. Specifically, I want clear, reusable calculations for:
• mean, median and mode on several numeric columns
• percentiles and quartiles so I can spot outliers
What I’d like from you is a streamlined workbook (or a set of example sheets) where each metric is calculated correctly, references update automatically when I drop in new data, and the logic is transparent enough that I can explain it to colleagues later. Short cell comments or a separate tab with notes are perfect; screenshots or long write-ups are not necessary.
Once I can plug fresh data into the template and watch the summary update without errors, I’ll consider the job done.
