Excel Cleanup & Date Formatting
Budget: ₹100 – ₹400 INR
I need a meticulous first-pass cleanup on an Excel workbook. The file contains stray leading, trailing, and double spaces that break lookups and summaries, plus a few values sitting in the wrong data type. Your job is to strip every unnecessary space and correct those data-type glitches so the sheet behaves predictably.
Only one column requires special handling: the dates. Every date must end up as a true Excel date and display in ISO style — YYYY-MM-DD. Once the dates and the rest of the data are clean, the workbook should function without conversion warnings or hidden white-space issues.
Deliverables
• Cleaned .xlsx file, free of extra spaces
• All dates converted and formatted as YYYY-MM-DD
• Brief, repeatable outline (macro, Power Query steps, or clear written steps) so I can re-run the process on future datasets
