Excel 365 Cell Color Issue Open

I'm having trouble with my Excel 365. I cannot get it to fill-in a cell with a different color using the Fill Color tool. I read the help section but it still does not work. I am not getting any error messages; it appears to work but no color shows. I need someone who is skilled in Excel troubleshooting and can help me resolve this issue.
