Budget: $30 – $250 USD
I need a comprehensive, up-to-date database of officially registered businesses across Kenya, Uganda, Tanzania and Rwanda. Every record must carry verifiable proof of registration—either the registration number linked to the relevant authority or a clear digital copy of the certificate—alongside current contact details (phone, email and physical address where available). A reference document will be provided, to ensure duplicate entries are avoided.
All sizes and sectors are welcome, from informal traders who have formalised through local councils right up to multinational corporations; the key requirement is that each entry can be validated against an official register.
Deliverables
• Spreadsheet (Excel or CSV) containing one line per business with:
– Legal business name
-- Contact Details
– Country and city/town
– Industry / activity description
-- Verified Registration
Acceptance criteria
The file must open without errors, at least 95 % of registration numbers or certificates must match the public records you cite, and random spot checks of 85% of entries must return working phone numbers or valid email addresses.
If you already have partial data for any of the four countries, feel free to indicate where it can be expanded or cleaned; I am open to delivery so quality control can happen as we progress.
When you bid, include your offer for 200 entries and the timeframe.
**Submissions can be done in batches of 10, 20, 30, and so on.
Ensure, that you've got consent from either the owner/director/manager, in sharing their information.
