Dynamic 128-Player Bracket Dropdowns in Excel
Budget: $30 – $250 USD
I need a fully-interactive bracket for a 128-player tennis draw. The interface must appear in a clean list view, where every matchup is represented by a drop-down.
How it should work
• The final (champion) drop-down contains all 128 player names.
• Each earlier round shows only the players that could logically reach it: two names in Round 2, four in Round 3, eight in Round 4, and so on, auto-backfilling as picks are made.
• If I change a pick in an earlier round the downstream rounds must instantly refresh to reflect the new path. No locks; edits are always allowed.
Look & feel
A subtle tennis theme is preferred—think green court tones, lightweight fonts, and simple match separators—nothing flashy. Keep the layout responsive so the list view reads comfortably on desktop and mobile.
Deliverables
1. HTML/CSS/JS (or React/Vue if you prefer) implementing the dynamic drop-down logic.
2. A single JSON or array where I can paste the 128 names.
3. Read-me with embed instructions and notes on extending to 64/256 draws.
Acceptance criteria
• Selecting the champion first instantly populates all preceding rounds with the correct subsets.
• Any edit to an earlier round cascades updates without page reload.
• Works in the latest Chrome, Firefox, Safari, and Edge.
If you have questions about edge cases or tennis-specific seeding, let me know and I’ll clarify.
