Develop database for my fabrication business

I have a business where we have hundreds of jobs a month. I need to create a job and have a description of what the job is, then define start and finish dates, a value. I need to differentiate between a quote and a quote that’s turned to a job. I then print out job cards from the data entered on the spreadsheet and also create delivery dockets to print out, also need to have an overview of jobs to understand what’s in WIP and have a summary of all jobs in WIP. I currently do all this on excel in one document with macros but want to progress to a database if possible.
