Data Migration

Accurately transferred data from one location to another, from one format to another, or from one application to another is known as data migration. This is usually caused by the introduction of a new data system or location. Typically, the business driver is an application migration or consolidation, in which legacy systems are replaced or supplemented by new applications that share the same dataset. Companies are increasingly migrating their data from on-premises infrastructure and applications to cloud-based storage and apps in order to optimize or transform their businesses.
