Data Collection for machine
Budget: £750 – £1,500 GBP
I am using a PLC on a machine which has a datalogger built in. At the end of each machine cycle I close the datalogger and save the file as a .csv. The end user then takes the .csv file and opens it in Excel and produces his own graphs etc.
I have now got to produce a slicker solution so I am looking at using an OPC Server UA to provide real time data into Excel which I have done. I now have a template where I have 6 signals coming into Excel - Temperature / Speed / Current / Pressure / Position / Temperature 2.
What I would like to do is to develop a set of templates where this live data automatically populates a set of graphs and reports. The graphs need to be auto sizing and I would trigger the start and stop of the graphs with a tag from the PLC changing state from 0 to 1.
