Data Collection Template

There is an existing spreadsheet used in the field for data collection that has VBA code
supporting a form used to enter the data for fewer than 50 fields. The form currently has a tabbed
two-page interface. There is an underlying database of commercial entities (1000-2000 on
average) which are searched on the form to select the correct entity for entry of field inspection
data about the selected entity.
The form has VBA code for ensuring data quality and there have
been some bugs noticed in the field that may be related to these features and should be found and
mitigated. There is also a desire to add limited features based on requests from the field to
streamline the data collection. Also, there may be additional data quality features needed. All
work will be implemented in VBA.
As a second phase possibly, the data collection template above already emails out copies of the
data collected to me. I would like to automate its collection and aggregation into an overall
single spreadsheet, a duplicate of the underlying database except with the data collected fields
reflecting the data collected. I would prefer a VBA implementation, but Python is also an option.
