Custom ESL Student Progress Tracker Design
Budget: $20 – $40 AUD
About the Role:
I'm an online language teacher and I'm looking for a detail-oriented freelancer who is proficient in Google Sheets or Microsoft Excel to help me design a custom progress tracker for my ESL (English as a Second Language) students.
The tracker will serve as a habit tracker + reflection tool, where students can monitor their daily English practice, reflect on their learning journey, and celebrate milestones.
What I Need Built:
The tracker will have 3 separate tabs:
✅ Tab 1: Daily Practice Checklist
Students will enter the date and tick off what kind of practice they did (e.g. listening, speaking, writing, pronunciation, etc.)
- Includes optional drop-downs, tick boxes, or colour-coding
- Additional columns for Energy (1–5) and Confidence (1–5)
? Tab 2: Reflection Journal
A space where students write short reflections each week
Prompts may include:
What did I improve this week?
What was difficult?
Any 'aha' moments?
What will I focus on next week?
? Tab 3: Milestone Moments / Wins
- A space to jot down small or big wins (e.g. “Understood a full conversation today!”)
- Should include a column for the date and why this was meaningful
Ideal Candidate:
- Has experience creating trackers or templates in Google Sheets/Excel
- Can implement drop-downs, conditional formatting (e.g. colour changes for energy levels)
- Creative eye for clean and user-friendly design
Bonus: experience creating educational tools or habit trackers
