Creating smaller excel files from a larger files.

Hi. I have a large csv/excel file which I'm able to break down into smaller files. One of the columns in the files is "City". There are many different cities.
What I need done is to extract all the row data for 7 cities in particular. In separate csv or excel files would be ideal. (one for each city) But in excel tabs or a single large file would also be okay.
You can do this manually, but I would prefer a script, formula or automated way to do the task. The low end of the budget would be the manual method and the high end would be the automated method. eg. A python script or some sort of excel macro.
