Creating a mapping. from accounting software to excel spreadsheet

Job ID: 33325368

Budget: $250 – $750 USD

I am trying to see if I can simplify my life. Each week, I receive multiple formatted timesheets from multiple providers on behalf of our employees. I enter the hours into Quickbooks desktop and then invoice. Once complete, I have to manually move it to a spreadsheet in Excel 97-2004 format and then manually re-enter the figures and balance. I am trying to see what it would take to be able to take the invoice data from Quickbooks to directly import into this weekly spreadsheet. Our main identifier is their employee number which I would need to figure out how to map it from Quickbooks. We are looking at other Accounting softwares currently as Quickbooks is getting rid of their desktop version so open to more flexible softwares if I can efficiently and cost effectively do this. I have loaded a sample of my weekly spreadsheet. The other thing that I need is, supposed that an employee works 45 hours. I need 40 hours to go into the reg earnings and 5 hours into overtime automatically. Their per diem column would match their reg earnings up to 40 each week. Finally, the spreadsheet gets recreated each week since we hire new employees all the time so the mapping would have to be done prior to export to the spreadsheet and would have to import it multiple times from each job site.

I have attached two spreadsheet,s 3-25-22 3 and 3-25-22 4. The second one is how I receive the download to fill out. 3-25-22 3 is what I create after entering the data into #4, removing headings, etc so I can upload. I would like to see the data in #4 to ensure it is correct by company and also, if possible, be able to create #3 with a click of a button instead of manually doing it
