Create an excel macro

I have a spit out of timesheet from a fingerprint scanner. i would like to create a macro that automatically checks for errors and calculate the total hours worked everyday. this macro should spit out the total hours worked in the same template as the current shown file (timecard).
there will be time where my employee missed to scan his fingerprint (time in missing or time out missing). the macro needs to pick up on these and push out an error report to show all missing data so it can be manually filled in.
this macro should have a section where I can define the overtime rate.
public holiday = x 2 (able to put in which date is a public holiday)
weekends = x 2
weekdays = from 4pm to 6pm x 1.5, from 6pm onwards x 2
this macro should have a section where i can define breaktime
1hr break between 7am to 4pm
0.5hr break between 4pm to 6pm
