We are a recruitment agency in the UK
Our sales people earn commission at the end of the month which is based on the value of fees they have had invoiced and paid
The amount that is paid depends on if they have covered their "monthly cost" (which is different for each recruiter) and how much they have billed in that quarter.
We have both a monthly and quarterly bonus scheme
We record all sales in a spreadsheet including when the invoice has been paid (which has macros) - "placements sheet"
We are looking for the new "commission sheet" to pull the data from the "placements sheet" when an invoice has been paid to show what each consultant is due to be paid commission each month and at the end of each quarter any quarterly bonuses also due. Minimising the extra inputting of data from the other spreadsheet.
