Create CSV from Webster's Dictionary
Budget: $30 – $250 CAD
I'm seeking a freelancer to help me create a comprehensive CSV file from the Webster's New World Pocket Dictionary (ISBN 9780544986619).
The CSV file needs to list every word in the following format: word, page#, column (1 for left or 2 for right), line#. For instance, if the word was 'apple', it would be represented as 'apple,200,2,5'. This means the word is located on page 200, in the right hand column and the 5th line from the top.
I currently do not have a digital version of the dictionary, and will need assistance with obtaining a physical copy as well as scanned images of each page.
Ideal skills and experience for this job:
- Prior experience with data entry and CSV file creation
- Access to and capability of obtaining the specified dictionary
- Detail-oriented to ensure every word is accurately logged
- Able to assist with scanning and digitizing the pages.
