Cost Sheet & Quotation Generation Project Using VBA Macros
Budget: ₹12,500 – ₹37,500 INR
1) Requirements Gathering / Scope Definition – In this stage, we will make a detailed study of your existing manual process for laying down the product cost sheets and the process of generating / issuing / revising the quotes to the customers. We will make our necessary notings from the perspective of system development and eventually will deliver a detailed technical report. This will give a clear-cut scope definition of the automation to be undertaken. Such report will be helpful for issuing our quote for the main activity i.e. Development of the tool.
2) Development of the Solution – Based on Step 1, we will carry out the actual development efforts of an automated solution. This tool will have forms for data entry (with validations and controls like dropdowns, checkboxes, option buttons etc). Also, an aesthetically pleasing and user-friendly interface will be developed in order to use the different functionalities of this solution.
Points to be noted:
After the Requirements Gathering, you may either award the development work to us or to anyone else. That will be your prerogative. In any case, the detailed technical report will provide the necessary clarity to whoever that undertakes the work.
The Investment for Requirements Gathering is separate as it is an activity by itself. The deliverable for the same is the detailed technical report and the investment needs to be paid only after it is fully compiled from the perspective of Development of the Solution.
In case you do decide to award the work to us, the investment paid for the Requirements Gathering will be adjusted against the investment for Development.
We have a strong feeling that we can carry out the entire process on Excel platform (using macros in VBA) itself. However, we would be able to assert over with utmost certainty only after the Requirements Gathering step is over.
While we will be taking care of the technical aspects, providing the complete functional process specifications (including exceptions) will be your responsibility and is critical for the success of this development project.
I'm looking for a freelancer to create a cost sheet generation project using VBA macros. The complexity of the cost sheet is moderate, and an existing template should be used. Specifically I'd like the project to include dynamic data input through the use of a VBA macro. The project should include creating a cost sheet application with automation to generate dynamic input and custom reports.
