Copy Product Descriptions and specifications from website to excel
I need someone to copy product descriptions data from a website into Microsoft excel. I will provide the URL links to products.
It is very important that the information you copy, and paste is in a READABLE format and makes sense when someone else is reading it.
This means that some of the information from the website maybe in tables or other formats so when you copy into excel you need to remove some spaces, extra lines, or special characters. There should not be too many of these though.
The main information I need is package included, description/features, specification.
I will provide URL link to products and this project is expected to maybe have around 700 products to review. Note that this could be ongoing work I need help with or other similar work I need done if I can find the right freelancer, I am looking for long term help.
PLEASE READ notes and pictures of examples I provided on spreadsheet.
Note: If Data is in a tabled format from the website. Convert to a readable format in excel by trying the following (see pictures for example):
Step1: Copy the tabled information
Step2: Paste this information in excel using the “match destination formatting”
Step3: Select and copy all cells containing this information
Step4: Paste this information to a text document
Step 5: paste this information back into excel (in 1 cell only)
