Construction Take-Off Specialist Needed for All Flooring Finishes & Wall Tile
Budget: $30 – $250 USD
We are seeking an experienced construction estimator or take-off specialist to perform detailed quantity take-offs for all flooring finishes and wall tile materials for Phase 2 of an upcoming project. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in construction estimating for a variety of finish materials, including but not limited to tile, carpet, hardwood, laminate, vinyl, rubber, and baseboards.
**Scope of Work:**
* Review architectural drawings, finish schedules, and project specifications.
* Quantify all finish flooring materials (carpet, hardwood, engineered wood, laminate, vinyl, rubber, etc.) and wall tile required for the project.
* Include field materials, trims, transitions, cove/base, accent pieces, and other related components.
* Prepare a clearly organized take-off in Excel or similar format, broken down by room/area and material type.
* Specify all material types, sizes, and any special installation requirements as shown in the plans/specs.
* Flag any discrepancies or missing information and communicate them promptly.
**Requirements:**
* Previous experience performing take-offs for a variety of flooring and finish materials (please provide samples or references).
* Ability to read and interpret architectural and finish plans and schedules.
* Experience with take-off software (PlanSwift, Bluebeam, or similar) is a plus.
* Excellent attention to detail and reliability in meeting deadlines.
* Good communication skills.
