Consolidate Multi-Source Data Excel
Budget: ₹600 – ₹1,500 INR
I have more than ten separate datasets—some in Excel workbooks, others in CSV format—that all relate to the same subject matter. A few share identical column headers, while the rest contain extra or mismatched fields. My goal is to end up with one clean, well-structured master Excel file that holds every record and makes future analysis simple.
Here is what I need from you:
• Import every Excel and CSV file, preserving all rows.
• Reconcile differing column names and data types so the final sheet has one consistent header row. When columns exist in only some files, include them and leave blanks where data is missing.
• Remove obvious duplicates, fix encoding problems or stray characters, and ensure dates, numbers, and text are formatted uniformly.
• Provide the finished consolidated workbook (.xlsx) plus a brief “change log” that explains any assumptions or transformations you made.
Feel free to use Power Query, VBA, Python (pandas), or any tool you’re comfortable with—as long as the end product is a single Excel file I can open and filter immediately.
