Comprehensive ROI Calculator Development
Budget: $500 – $1,250 USD
Objective:
We are looking for an experienced consultant to develop a robust Return on Investment (ROI) Excel model that serves as a mock-up for an eventual online tool. The model should cater to varying levels of user input detail and present final results in a professional and understandable format suitable for client presentation.
Scope of Work:
* Develop a detailed Excel model that mirrors the functionality planned for an online ROI calculator.
* Integrate VLOOKUP, data tables, and other advanced Excel functionalities to handle complex calculations and data analysis.
* Test the model thoroughly to ensure accuracy and minimize potential user errors. Incorporate description of data fields with comment, roll-over or hyperlink (descriptions are provided).
* Format the final results within Excel to present a polished, client-ready report.
Deliverables:
* An Excel-based ROI model with multi-level user input capabilities.
* Supplemental tables within the Excel workbook to support data analysis.
* A formatted final report section within the Excel model that clearly presents the ROI analysis results.
* A test log detailing the testing process and outcomes, ensuring the model is error-free.
Acceptance Criteria:
* The Excel model must perform all calculations correctly and handle inputs at basic, detailed, and uploaded data levels.
* The presentation of results should be clear, professional, and suitable for executive review.
* The model should be designed following Excel best practices, with distinct formatting for input, calculated, and imported values.
* Robust design for flexibility and to minimize user error or
Required Skillsets:
* Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including VLOOKUP, conditional formatting, and macro development.
* Strong analytical skills with the ability to develop complex financial models.
* Experience in creating visually appealing reports and presentations within Excel.

* 1. ROI Calculator.xls - includes required data tables, with descriptions and supporting worksheets. Note: In Data Table Collapse rows to see Level 1 detail of what might be displayed to the user. Expand rows to see Level 2 and 3 detail.
* 2. Robot Value Prop - working, prior draft.xlsx – an earlier version of the model for reference. The model and algorithms work, but it’s not well designed as my focus was on functionality and not flow or presentation of results. Some minor tweaks made to create ROI Calculator.xls.
* 3. CertAir ROI Calculator - ex output.ppt draft to help visualize summary results.
