Cleaning, Merging And Verifying A Contacts Database (Excel, CSV, Linkedin)
Budget: €30 – €250 EUR
Need to merge contacts from around 80 different Excel/CSV files. The result should be a single contacts database, preferably in Airtable.
We would like the process to include:
1. Checking for duplicates.
2. If there are duplicates - we need to combine the data from different files. For example, one file might have the e-mail for the person, while another file might have their phone number, but a third file could have their phone number. All of these should be combined into one single contact.
3. We would like to run a check on the current position of each person and update the database accordingly: Current Company, Current Position (Linkedin), LinkedIn Description Of The Person.
4. We would also like to run a check on all the e-mails to see if they are working or not and whether they are real.
Bonus: If the e-mail is not working, find the current and working e-mail for that person.
5. The database should have a field to indicate which file (or files) the source of the data comes from.
A sample file for the database is included. Ideally we would like to put this on Airtable.
We expect the final database to be about 15 000 - 30 000 people. There are a lot of duplicates within the files.
