Data Organization and Formula Calculation Tool Development for Chemistry Thesis Project (Fragrance Formulations)

**Description:**
I’m looking for a skilled freelancer to assist me with a chemistry-related data project as part of my thesis work. The goal is to organize and structure a dataset of **fragrance formulations** and then develop a simple calculation tool to support production simulations.

The project involves three main stages:

1. **Data Cleaning and Structuring:**
Organize and standardize an existing Excel database that contains fragrance formulation data (ingredients, codes, and quantities).
2. **Data Enhancement:**
Replace or add specific columns with additional information that I will provide (e.g., supplier codes, cost references, or concentration data).
3. **Tool Development:**
Create a small application or automated Excel tool that allows me to:

* Input a **fragrance code** and **desired batch size**.
* Automatically calculate the **required amount of each raw material**.
* Generate a summary report consolidating ingredient requirements for bulk preparation or purchasing.

**Requirements:**

* Strong skills in **Excel (advanced formulas, macros/VBA)** or **Python (pandas/openpyxl)**.
* Background or interest in **chemistry, formulation science, or data modeling**.
* Ability to design a **simple, user-friendly interface** for entering and displaying results.
* Clear communication and concise documentation.

**Deliverables:**

* Cleaned and standardized Excel dataset.
* Functional calculation tool or macro as described.
* Short user guide or documentation explaining how the tool works.
