Light Metals Coloring, a world-class provider of metal finishing and coatings, is looking for a temporary exceptional Chemical Engineer to work in our Southington, CT location. Estimated engagement: 8-12 Weeks.

This role
• Develops and designs chemical manufacturing processes and equipment.
• Investigates, reviews and introduces new applications for existing chemical processes.
• Troubleshoots problems and product quality issues.
• Tests production methods.
• Assis with the review and implementation of clean, efficient and safe facility coating and anodizing facility operations.

• Be deliberate, disciplined, results-focused, goal-oriented, accurate, detail-oriented, organized, team-focused and reliable.
• Be proficient in reading and interpreting engineering documents, specifications and prints.
• Be proficient in data analysis and operations metrics.
• Be proficient in Microsoft Office applications.
• Have effective oral, written and interactive English communication.
• Have a Bachelor’s degree in chemistry, chemical engineer or equivalent degree.
• Have 3+ years’ experience in a chemical manufacturing environment such as anodizing or plating.
