CSV-to-Excel Data Cleanup

I have one source CSV that needs to be brought into my master Excel workbook. Your job is straightforward: copy the entire dataset into Excel, strip out every duplicate record, then realign what remains according to specific criteria I will share (think along the lines of matching key fields rather than a simple row or column sort).
You are free to lean on native Excel tools—Power Query, pivot tables, advanced filters—so long as the final sheet opens cleanly without macros and shows the reordered, duplicate-free data exactly where it belongs.
Deliverables
• A single .xlsx file containing the cleaned and properly aligned records
• A short note (or separate tab) detailing the steps you took so I can reproduce the process later, if needed
Acceptance Criteria
• Zero duplicate rows verified via COUNTIF or a similar method
• Data appears in the order defined by the criteria I provide
• No loss or alteration of original field content except for duplicate removal
