We are seeking a sharp, detail-oriented Business Data Analyst to join a high-performing team on a 6-month contract. In this role, you will lead critical financial data efforts — bringing clarity to operational reports, uncovering inefficiencies, and improving gross margin visibility. You’ll work closely with cross-functional teams to develop and automate reporting solutions using modern spreadsheet tools and AI workflows.

Attached is a vendor invoice file (the “Jetro invoices” sheet), which includes:
Normal item rows
Coupon rows (discounts that must be subtracted from the item above)
CRV Fee rows (charges that must be added to the item above)

1.Analyze the File:
Identify which rows are Coupons or CRV Fees (based on the Description field).
2.Create a Working Solution:
Add a new column called Adjusted Price.
For each main item:
Keep the original price if there’s no adjustment.
Subtract any Coupon value from the original item’s price.
Add any CRV value to the original item’s price.
Use Excel formulas to automate this — no manual typing.
3.Write a Clear AI Prompt:
Imagine you are instructing ChatGPT (or a similar AI tool) to automate this process.
Write a clear, structured prompt that explains:
How to detect Coupon and CRV rows
How to apply adjustments to the correct main item above
How to generate a clean Adjusted Price table
