Build macros and format an excel model

Hello, for the project we would like to make an excel template more user friendly and not complicated for someone who doesn’t have an excel background specifically we would like to:
1. Employ macros to hide, unhide specific tabs, rows and columns based on a numerical, list or check box input
2. Visually format an excel so its user friendly and intuitive using colour range scales, tick box etc
