Basic Excel Macro for Data Manipulation
Budget: $10 – $30 USD
I'm looking for a proficient Excel Macro developer to build an Excel Macro or correct the error in mine for data manipulation, specifically sorting and filtering a table of data. I want to be able to change the order of the data in ascending or descending order just by clicking the button near the top of the column. I have multiple columns I want to do this with. I tried to do this on my own, but have an error. Since I am new at this, I need help to resolve the error or do this in a different way.
• Task: You will create an Excel Macro tailored to execute basic sorting and filtering. This requires a fundamental understanding of data organization and Excel functionalities.
• Ideal Skills: Expertise in Excel Macro development and extensive knowledge of data sorting and filtering functions.
• Complexity Level: This project targets basic operations, hence only warranting single-criteria rules.
I am including a sample file of the kind of data I expect, with the macro I attempted to make.
Anything to improve on what I attempted to do would be an added bonus. For example, most of the columns of data are numbers, but the first column to be sorted, has a letter in front of it. I would like it to sort in this order (T9, T10, T11, T12, T13) if possible. The other columns either have numbers (which will sort in order) or letters/symbols where the order is not important, so long as the sort places them together (for example: X, X, △, O, △, X becomes O, X, X, X, △, △).
