Current process
We have desktop software where we manually download about fourteen 14 excel or CSV files with data. Then we add the data to a master excel file with formulas that we have developed. This excels file will give us the reports that we need.
There are few users using this process from their computers. Everyone’s computers run on different versions of windows. From windows 10 to windows 11.
1.2 New solution needed
We need you to write a script to automate data extraction from the desktop software in CSV or excel and store it in a folder on the computer. Also, the script should upload the file to the FTP Database on the server at a certain location.
