Airtable Help needed

I am a co-founder of a business and I "think in excel" which means I need something that is a database/spreadsheet that will calculate columns, etc ... automatically while also being able to store a file with costs, contact details, etc ... People have said I should use Airtable but it's not working for me and I think I just need an expert to put this together.
