Addition and modification to previous excel design

I currently have been working on an excel project that searches data and generates the results within the parameters of the search. However it searches all the data at once. I need to know if results at one point fell within the parameters but as time goes on fell out with them and take these in to consideration.
Example:

By searching the full data set you find the best pattern was X.
2.
However, earlier in the data set the best patterns were X, Y and Z and as the dataset continued Y and Z fell outwith the parameters of the search. I need to take the Y and Z results into consideration as they at one point fitted the parameters.
Currently i can search using method 1 but i need to search using method 2 and plot the cumulative results on a graph.
