Unblock Excel 365 macros blocked by default when opening .xlsm file from network drive

In recent Microsoft updates, they set VBA macro-enabled workbooks from the internet with an attribute called "Mark of the Web". This attribute has caused my excel workbooks on my network drive to become unusable, as when I open the workbook, macros are blocked.
A picture of the error is attached and I have tried everything that they have suggested in the below link without luck. Maybe I am doing somthing wrong, but setting my network drive to a trusted location and recognized as a trusted source does nothing. Setting Excel 365 to recognize my file as a trusted file yields no results. This error does not allow me to turn on macros regardless of excel policy settings for the file that I open from my network drive.

I do not want to copy the files locally. The error does not exist if you save the workbook locally, close excel 365 for Windows 10 x64, and re-open the file. I am not sure if a VBA macro can handle that operation and be used as a workaround if no other solution exists, but it is very beneficial to my macros to open and work directly from the network drive.
