12-Month Excel Financial Template

I’m putting together a personal-finance coaching workbook and need an Excel expert to turn my outline into a polished, user-friendly file. The core of the job is a 12-month layout (January through December) with a clear yearly dashboard that automatically rolls up every figure. Users will open this file on Excel for Office 365 and Excel Online, so every formula, table, and link has to behave perfectly in those environments and display well on phones as well as desktops.

Each monthly sheet should include sections for Income (broken down into Salary/Wages, Investments, and Other Income), Expenses, and an at-a-glance Net Total. All totals must flow up to the summary page without complicated array formulas or VBA; simple SUM, SUMIF/SUMIFS, and basic links are fine so clients can audit or tweak anything themselves. Quick navigation—hyperlinked buttons or a compact menu bar at the top of every sheet—will keep things intuitive.

Visually, the file should feel clean and professional: consistent fonts, subtle color accents, and plenty of white space. If you can add a lightweight dashboard (sparkline trends, simple charts, or conditional-format traffic lights) without slowing the file down, that would be a welcome bonus.
