Loan Tracking Excel Sheet
Budget: $10 – $30 CAD
I need a clean, user-friendly Excel template that lets me log every amount I lend, tag it with the borrower’s name, and then enter each repayment with its date. As soon as I type a new repayment, the sheet should automatically update the running balance for that person so I can see at a glance who still owes what.
Key points you should build in
• Automatic balance calculation for every borrower (my “Yes” to the auto-calculation question).
• Clear input areas for the original loan, each partial repayment, and the corresponding dates.
• A summary section that lists all active borrowers and their current outstanding amounts.
• No visual reports for now—“No, just the data” was my choice—yet the structure should be flexible enough that I could later drop in a simple line graph if I ever change my mind.
Please deliver the finished .xlsx file ready for me to start entering data right away, with any formulas or named ranges already unlocked so I can modify them in the future if necessary.
