Investment Tracking Excel Template

I need a clean, plug-and-play Excel workbook that will let me follow up to 30 individual investments without ever touching the underlying formulas. The header row must remain fixed and protected so I can’t accidentally delete or overwrite it. The columns I require—exact wording, rigid order—are:

Investment Type | Code | Sponsor | Number of Shares | Cost of Shares | Current Share Price | Profit ($) | Total Income $

Here’s how I’d like it to work:

• Profit ($) should calculate automatically from the Cost of Shares and Current Share Price each time I add or change data.
• Total Income should update instantly by adding every profit figure in the sheet.
• A line chart needs to sit on a separate “Dashboard” sheet (or off to the side—whichever is tidier) and track Profit over time. No live market feeds are necessary; the chart simply reacts when I enter new rows or update existing ones.

I’ll only be entering data, so please lock or protect all formula cells and any structural elements. Feel free to use named ranges, tables, or dynamic arrays—whatever makes maintenance effortless and keeps the file responsive.

Deliverable: one Excel (.xlsx) file ready for immediate use, formulas and chart fully tested for 30 items.
