Fix a VBA code issue
Budget: $30 – $250 USD
A previous tech wrote a program in VBA to automate the process of broadcasting emails (5 emails per second) for mass marketing.
All went well except for one feature; the text for the “BODY”, except for the recipient's name (pulled from an Excel .xlsm database), would not load. Ironically, it worked once perfectly; but all subsequent attempts failed. After being paid in full, he is not willing (or able) to fix the code.
We would like you to analyze what he did and see if you can fix it - rewriting the code as needed. Every other function he designed seems to work flawlessly. It puts the customer’s name in the body after the word, “Dear” and it puts the attachments in the email, etc…it just won’t put plain or colored text or large fonts in the “body” of the email.
Note: As you know, we can’t use PDF and are unwilling to pay for HTML.
Because I will not pay anything unless the problem is solved, you need to be confident you can fix it before committing to this project. It is way overdue and cannot be delayed further.
