Find Missing Excel Entry
Budget: $10 – $30 USD
I have two Excel worksheets filled only with numbers, and one of them is missing a record that exists in the other. I need the workbook returned with a clear, exact-match comparison applied across every column of every row so the absent entry (or entries) stands out instantly.
Scope
• Compare the entire sheet from Tab A against the entire sheet in Tab B.
• Use an exact match—no partial or fuzzy logic.
• Flag or list every row from Tab A that does not appear in Tab B (and vice-versa, if any).
Preferred approach
A clean, formula-driven solution (e.g., XLOOKUP, COUNTIFS, MATCH, or an equivalent Power Query step) that I can maintain later. Conditional formatting to highlight discrepancies would be a plus, but the core need is the unmistakable identification of the missing entry.
Deliverable
Return the Excel file with your working formulas or query intact and a brief note explaining where the missing record appears and how you located it.
