Excel VBA Project Reference Database - OW

OneWorld Sustainable Investments is seeking a Excel database/VBA developer to develop a database for storing OneWorld’s project references. Project references are summaries of key information on OneWorld’s projects which are used in project tender proposals. Project references will always have a master copy in OneWorld’s format, as well as multiple permutations of the master in formats which particular clients’ require. Additionally a project might have multiple project references which are permutations of the master, but focused on a particular theme (eg climate finance, training, or water management). Thus, that database will need to capture all core information on the projects, which will then be automatically populated into project reference templates based on what information is required by the client.
The database will consist of several key components:
• A database listing projects and their relevant information, which includes several permutations of project references for each project based on various themes (eg water, climate finance, training etc).
• A user form built in VBA, which will be used to populate the database with all relevant information, and be able to retrieve and edit said information.
• The form will also need to be linked to the Monday.com (OneWorld’s chosen project management software) to automate notification of relevant team members when changes to project references in the database have been made.
• A print function for generating Word documents with project references according to a predefined list of templates which are based on OneWorld’s client specifications, which are populated based on information stored in the database and that required by the particular template. Inclusive should be the ability to add and amend templates, and what information is added into them.
