Excel VBA Production Planning Report - Generator
Budget: $25 – $50 AUD
Our manufacturing workbook already houses sales order data, product recipe information, and required intermediary cleaning steps. What is missing is a single click report that turns all of that information into a clear production plan for workers to follow on shift, for each of the production lines.
I need a custom-written VBA routine that reads the sales order data, and based on a set of rules (i.e. time to create product, cleaning steps required between separate products, etc), generates a clear production plan hour by hour for a week in a neatly formatted sheet.
Additionally, there are further metrics required based on what has been produced for the day vs what was produced (using historical production reporting_.
The code must be fully commented, sit in its own module, and run from an obvious button on the front dashboard. Hard-coded ranges change often here, so reference columns dynamically or through named ranges wherever possible. The workbook is in Excel 365.
I will sign off once I can drop a new batch of raw data into the source sheets, press the dashboard button, and receive an accurate, print-ready production summary without touching the VBA.
