Excel Touch Football Data Cleanup

I have Excel workbooks that tracks touch-football match results and player statistics. Before I start deeper analysis, this file needs a thorough clean-up. The job is purely data cleaning: locating and fixing obvious or hidden errors, then bringing every column to a consistent, well-defined format.
What you will see
– Player statistics (representatives, tries, etc.)
– Match results (date, opposition, scorelines, venue)
What I need done
1. Standardise all formats so numbers, dates and text are uniform throughout the workbook (e.g., one date style, consistent naming for players and divisions, etc).
2. Correct all data entry mistakes like typos, misplaced figures, incorrect totals, etc.
Deliverables
• Cleaned Excel files ready for analysis
• A short change log that summarises the key corrections and the rules you applied
Feel free to leverage Power Query, formulas, VBA, or AI tools if that speeds things up.
