Excel Sum-Within-Limits Formula
Budget: $10 – $30 USD
I have a product sheet where each item already shows its own minimum-to-maximum price range. What I now need is a single Excel formula (or small set, if you think a helper column is cleaner) that automatically sums only the prices that fall inside each product’s predefined range and then returns the grand total of those qualifying amounts.
The limits are not global; every row carries its own lower and upper bound. All I should have to do is drop the formula into the workbook and the total should update whenever the source prices change. A short note inside the file or a couple of inline comments explaining the logic will be enough—I don’t need a full report.
Please deliver an .xlsx file with the working formula applied to a dummy dataset (just a few sample rows) so I can copy it straight into my live sheet, or share the exact formula string with clear cell references if you prefer.
