Excel Roster and Quote Template
Budget: $30 – $250 AUD
I already sketched a basic layout and now need it brought to life in Microsoft Excel.
Roster
The roster sheet should display a clear weekly schedule overview. I’ll supply the draft grid; the focus is on seeing the whole week at a glance without clutter. If you think adding optional columns for names or departments would future-proof the design, feel free to build them in and hide them by default.
Quote for Works
The Quote sheet must generate an itemised cost breakdown. I’ll list labour, materials and any extras—your job is to set up the formulas so totals, subtotals, GST and grand total calculate instantly. A tidy printable view and the ability to update rates in one place are essential.
Core requirements
• Built exclusively in Excel (no external add-ins).
• Clean, intuitive formatting that non-technical staff can use.
• Clearly labelled inputs; all calculations protected.
• My rough layout converted, not replaced—I need the logic added, not a complete redesign. (Except for the Daily Calculator Tab - not required)
When the workbook is finished I’ll need the unlocked master file plus a short note explaining where to edit rates and week dates. If anything in my outline is unclear just ask; I’m ready to supply the draft file and sample data right away.
