Excel Quote Sheet Consolidation
Budget: $250 – $750 USD
I have several legacy Excel files that each hold a piece of my quoting process. I now need one clean, reliable workbook that brings everything together so I can generate professional quotes with a few clicks.
Here’s what I’m looking for:
• Merge my existing spreadsheets into a single, well-structured workbook.
• Build clear input areas for item descriptions and prices, labour costs, plus any discounts and taxes I apply.
• Automate all calculations so totals and subtotals update instantly and accurately.
• Apply consistent formatting and print-ready layouts (logo, headers, easy-to-read tables) to deliver a polished PDF quote for clients.
• Keep the file easy to maintain—logical sheet names, colour-coded cells for data entry, protected formulas, and brief inline instructions.
If the clean-up reveals a gap, I’m open to adding a brand-new sheet or two rather than forcing a messy merge. Standard Excel features are fine, but feel free to use formulas, named ranges, PivotTables or light VBA where they save time and clicks.
Once finished I’ll test the workbook with a few real jobs; if every line item, labour entry, discount and tax flows through to the final total correctly and the quote exports neatly, we’re done.
