Excel Project Tracker Template

I need a clean-looking Excel template that helps me stay on top of multiple projects through focused task tracking. Each task should have a place for its current status so I can see overall progress at a glance—simple percentage bars or conditional formatting that shifts colour as work advances would be perfect.

Although the core of this job is progress tracking, I’m open to small quality-of-life touches you may suggest, provided they keep the file lightweight and easy for non-technical teammates to update without breaking formulas. I don’t need a full Gantt chart or elaborate resource planning right now; the priority is a sheet that:

• Lists all project tasks in one table
• Lets me enter or import start and finish data and watch the progress field update automatically
• Summarises completion by project or phase on a compact dashboard area

Please build everything directly in Microsoft Excel (no macros is fine; if VBA genuinely improves usability, keep the code tidy and well-commented). When you deliver, include a brief one-pager explaining which cells are editable, where the formulas live, and how to reset the file for a new project.
