Excel Product Dropdown with Thumbnails
Budget: $10 – $30 USD
I need a single Excel workbook that lets users pick a product from a drop-down list and instantly see its name, price, description, and a thumbnail image. All product data (name, price, description) must live in a clean, easily updatable database sheet, and the visible sheet should pull from that source without breaking when rows are added or deleted.
The drop-down itself has to display product images as small thumbnails next to, or within, each choice—no icons or full-size pictures, just crisp, lightweight previews that load quickly. If VBA or other Excel features (e.g., Data Validation, INDEX/MATCH, dynamic named ranges) are required, that’s fine; please keep the code well-commented so I can expand the list later.
Deliverable is the finished .xlsx or .xlsm file, fully functional and tested on the latest Microsoft Excel for Windows.
