The project centers on a dataset of patient records that I will supply in spreadsheet form. I need the file cleaned, structured, and subjected to thorough statistical analysis focused specifically on (1) patient demographics and (2) hospital-visit information.
Key tasks
• Re-format or normalize columns where needed so formulas and pivot tables run cleanly.
• Generate descriptive statistics (mean, median, mode, counts, standard deviation) for the selected variables.
• Build pivot tables and simple charts that highlight demographic distributions and visit-frequency patterns.
• Summarize notable findings in a short worksheet-based report or a clearly labeled dashboard tab.
Acceptance criteria
• All calculations remain transparent—formulas stay visible or are documented.
• No data outside the supplied file are introduced.
• Workbook opens without errors in current versions of Excel (Office 365 desktop).
The completed Excel workbook will serve as a ready-to-share report for clinical stakeholders, so clarity, tidy formatting, and reproducible calculations are essential.
