Excel Orders on database Data Comparison versus orderbook

compare columns from one worksheet to another and publish in 3rd worksheet.

circa 7 or 8 formulas required, some are very easy, like vlookups etc.

I have forgetton how to do this, however am aware of work and how fast someone can do it if fresh with excel.


I maintain a workbook with two worksheets—one holds my live online orders (buys and sells) and the other is a master database. I need a clean, reliable way to compare the two so discrepancies surface instantly.

Here’s what I have in mind:
• Match each online order against the database and flag anything that is missing, duplicated, or shows a different order value.
• Clearly distinguish between buy and sell transactions so I can filter results by type.
• Produce an easy-to-scan summary sheet (or dynamic dashboard) that highlights every mismatch, with cell references or hyperlinks back to the source rows.

Formulas are fine, a VBA script is fine, Power Query is fine—whatever is quickest, stable, and easy for me to maintain once you hand it over. Please keep the workbook structure intact and add comments so I can follow the logic later.
