Excel Issue Tracker Dashboard
Budget: $30 – $250 USD
I need a single Excel workbook that can serve as an issue register for roughly twenty ongoing projects. Each project will sit on its own sheet, and every sheet must let me log:
• the date an issue is booked
• its target closure date and actual closure date
• a status field with the options Open, In Progress, or Resolved
• the name of the resource responsible for that issue
Across the whole file I want a compact dashboard, shown as summary tables, that rolls everything up in real time. At a glance I should see:
• total issues booked
• total issues still open
• total issues closed / resolved
A simple date-range filter is essential so I can instantly list all deliverables that remain open (or moved to Resolved) between any two dates I choose.
Feel free to use formulas, structured tables, PivotTables, slicers, or light VBA—whatever keeps data entry easy and the dashboard responsive. The finished workbook should be ready for me to add new projects and issues without needing to edit code.
