Excel Financial Descriptive Statistics

I have a set of raw financial figures that I need examined inside Excel. The goal is straightforward: use descriptive-statistics techniques to uncover the distribution of the numbers and present a clear frequency breakdown. A clean, formula-driven workbook—ideally leveraging pivot tables, the Data Analysis Toolpak, or native histogram charts—will let me explore the data further after your work is done.
Here is what I expect:
• One Excel file that keeps the original data intact on a separate tab, contains any cleaning steps you take, and delivers the finished analysis on its own sheet.
• A frequency distribution table along with a visual (histogram or column chart) so the shape of the data is instantly clear.
• Brief written notes inside the workbook explaining your steps and highlighting any unusual patterns you notice.
Everything should stay within Excel; no external software is necessary. If you think additional descriptive measures—mean, median, standard deviation, variance—would add context, feel free to include them, but the frequency analysis is the main priority.
