Data Entry & Cleaning Phase
Source Data: Kaggle Superstore Sales Dataset.
Task: Import, clean, and validate the data in a single Excel workbook.
Requirements:
Check for and correct missing values, inconsistencies, and duplicates.
Ensure proper formatting for all key columns (Dates, Currency, Numbers).
Deliverable: A final, clean "Clean Data" tab in the Excel workbook.
2. Analysis Phase (Using PivotTables & Charts)
The freelancer must analyze and visualize key metrics using Excel's PivotTable and charting capabilities:
Profitability Analysis: Calculate Total Sales, Total Profit, and Overall Profit Margin. Identify the Top 5 and Bottom 5 Sub-Categories by Total Profit.
Geographical Analysis: Determine Sales and Profit performance by Region and State, identifying the most/least profitable regions.
Customer Analysis: Analyze Sales and Profit by Customer Segment (Consumer, Corporate, Home Office). Identify the Top 10 customers.
Trend Analysis: Visualize the Monthly or Quarterly Sales and Profit trend over the entire period using a Line Chart.
